Selectric Kitty

This rescued stray won't leave my side when I am working on this machine.
Cracks me up. Had to share. ;-)

  1. Nice tabby. it could be distantly related to Charlie.

    1. Absolutely, they are cosmic kitty cousins. :-)

  2. Judging by the expression on its face: he's transmitting a report - Harry-from-the-"3rd-Rock-From-The-Sun"-style - to the High Commander Charlie...

    1. She does look a little like French Stewart. :-)

  3. Before I put her on the stool, she was sitting on the floor just staring up at me pathetically. I kneeled down slightly to thread the -5 rotate latch clevis onto the latch rod, and before I knew it there was a cat on my shoulder. :-) I left her there for a few minutes, but we eventually settled on the stool as a suitable perch.

    1. Yeah - kinda weird, but this cat is also a real "sniffer." She loves to bury her head into areas rich in various odors (let your imagination run wild :-) ) like my bushy handlebar mustache (before I sheared it down). Who knows, maybe some of that Magic IBM Selectric Grease (TM) was made from rendered-down mice and milk fat? :-)

  5. Well, you've discovered that mice also love to hang out in Selectrics. Probably a connection there.
